Sr. Vivian Bowles grew up in Jeffersontown, KY and always wanted to be a teacher as a child. She enjoys boating, traveling and reading in her spare time, and has had the opportunity to visit the Holyland. Sr. Vivian is passionate about education, and worked in different positions in schools for nearly 50 years. She most recently was the President of Brescia University. Sr. Vivian enjoys working with the children and enriching their education in faith.
Fr. John Okoro was born in 1966 in Nigeria during the Nigerian civil War. He was ordained September 9,1995, and moved to the United States in January 2005 where he served Henderson, KY under Fr. Ed Bradley. He has served Henderson, Calhoun, Knottsville, Union County, and now St. Joseph and Curdsville. He came to St. Alphonsus and St. Elizabeth Churches in June 2024.
Kay Beth Riney was raised in West Louisville, KY and attended St. Alphonsus as a child. She has been a music teacher, and music ministry leader for several churches. She graduated from Murray State University with a Masters in Music and has a diploma from St. Joseph's College. She has served St. Alphonsus since July 2011.
Shannon was raised in St. Joe, KY and has attended St. Alphonsus her whole life. She is very proud to serve her community. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, baking, crafting and spending time with her family, dogs and cats.
